Getting Started
Completing the Onboarding Wizard
Learn how to complete the Foreman onboarding wizard, including accepting terms, selecting a workspace, and connecting your Autodesk Construction Cloud account.
Overview
When you sign in to Foreman for the first time, the onboarding wizard guides you through three quick steps to get your account ready. The wizard ensures your workspace is configured and your Autodesk Construction Cloud connection is established before you start working with projects.
Step 1: Welcome and Terms
- Read the welcome message and terms of service presented on the first screen.
- Review the terms carefully — by proceeding, you agree to Foreman's usage policies.
- Click Next to continue.
This step introduces you to Foreman and confirms your acceptance of the platform terms.
Step 2: Choose Your Workspace
- Select the workspace you want to use. Your workspace determines which hubs and projects are available to you.
- If your organization has multiple workspaces, choose the one that matches the team or division you work with.
- Click Next to proceed.
You can change your workspace later from the account settings page. Choosing a workspace now simply sets your default view.
Step 3: Connect Autodesk
This step verifies that Foreman can communicate with your Autodesk Construction Cloud account.
- If you signed in with Autodesk: Your connection is automatically detected and you will see a green checkmark. No additional action is required — simply click Finish to complete the wizard.
- If you signed in with an admin password: You will need to click the Connect Autodesk button to authorize Foreman to access your ACC data. Follow the Autodesk authorization prompt and return to Foreman.
Most users who sign in with Autodesk will breeze through Step 3 automatically. The connection is established during the sign-in process itself.
After the wizard
Once you complete all three steps, you are taken to the main dashboard. From there you can browse your hubs and projects, set up folder structures, and manage team access.
