Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and IssueLab ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of Foreman, a construction project management platform operating on Autodesk Construction Cloud ("ACC").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Foreman, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Foreman on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Foreman is a web-based platform that provides construction project management tools integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud. Features include role management, permission configuration, compliance reporting, folder structure deployment, project templating, and member administration. Foreman accesses your ACC data through the Autodesk Platform Services API based on authorisations you grant.

3. Account Registration & Security

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Foreman only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use the service to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to Foreman without our written consent
• Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the service beyond authorised API usage

5. Intellectual Property

Foreman and all associated intellectual property — including software, design, logos, and documentation — are owned by IssueLab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service. You retain ownership of your data and content uploaded to or processed by Foreman. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

6. Third-Party Services

Foreman integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud and other third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. You are responsible for maintaining valid licences and subscriptions with Autodesk and any other third-party providers required to use Foreman.

7. Data Protection & GDPR

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws. Our data processing practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as a data processor, we will do so only on your documented instructions, implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, and assist you in fulfilling your obligations under GDPR.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IssueLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Foreman. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Foreman is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IssueLab, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Foreman, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at tech@issuelab.co. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Before requesting deletion, you can download a copy of all your personal data from your Account Settings > Personal Data page. We may suspend or terminate your access to Foreman at any time, with or without cause, upon reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Foreman shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Foreman after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must discontinue use of the service.
