Deleting Your Account

Learn how to permanently delete your Foreman account, remove all personal data, and understand what information is erased under GDPR compliance.

If you no longer need your Foreman account, you can request permanent deletion. This process removes your personal data in compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.

Before You Delete

Before deleting your account, consider the following:

  • Active projects -- if you are the sole administrator of any projects, transfer ownership or add another admin before deleting your account.
  • Scheduled jobs -- any scheduled jobs you created will stop running once your account is removed.
  • Connected apps -- all OAuth authorizations will be revoked automatically.
  • This action is permanent -- your data cannot be recovered after deletion is complete.

Account deletion is irreversible. Make sure you have downloaded any data you need before proceeding. You can request a copy of your personal data from the Personal Data page before deleting your account.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Navigate to Manage Account from the user menu.
  2. Select Personal data from the sidebar.
  3. Optionally click Download to export a copy of your personal data before proceeding.
  4. Select Delete to begin the account deletion process.
  5. You will be asked to confirm by entering your password (for password accounts) or re-authenticating with Autodesk.
  6. Click Delete my account to confirm.

What Data Is Removed

When your account is deleted, Foreman removes:

  • Your profile information (name, email, preferences)
  • Stored authentication tokens (Autodesk, OAuth)
  • Linked external account associations
  • Two-factor authentication and passkey registrations
  • OAuth application authorizations
  • Scheduled job configurations
  • Access request history associated with your account

Some anonymized records (such as audit logs) may be retained for legal and compliance purposes, but they will no longer be linked to your identity.

GDPR Compliance

Foreman's account deletion process is designed to comply with the GDPR right to erasure (Article 17). Upon deletion:

  • All personal data is purged from active systems.
  • A data deletion record is created for administrative audit purposes.
  • The deletion is processed in accordance with applicable data retention policies.

If you have questions about your data or need assistance with a deletion request, contact your organization's administrator or Foreman support.
