Managing Your Profile
Learn how to view and update your Foreman profile, manage your display name and email address, and access account preferences and security settings.
Your Foreman profile contains the personal information associated with your account. Depending on how you signed up, some fields may be managed by your identity provider (Autodesk) and others can be edited directly within Foreman.
Viewing Your Profile
- Click your avatar or name in the bottom-left corner of the side panel or go to Manage Account.
- You will land on the Profile page, which displays your name, email address, and account details.
Editing Your Display Name
If you signed in with Autodesk, your display name is pulled from your Autodesk profile. To change it, update your name in your Autodesk account settings and it will sync on your next sign-in.
Managing Your Email Address
Your primary email address is used for notifications and account recovery. To change it:
- Navigate to Manage Account and select Email from the sidebar.
- Enter your new email address and click Change email.
- A confirmation link will be sent to the new address. Click the link to verify the change.
Your email address will not change until you click the confirmation link. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or request a new confirmation.
Account Preferences
The Profile page also shows your linked authentication methods and account status. Use the sidebar navigation to access additional settings such as password management, two-factor authentication, and connected apps.
Keep your email address up to date to ensure you receive important notifications about your projects and access requests.
