The Permissions Graph is an interactive visualisation of folder-level permissions within your Autodesk Forma project. It renders folders, users, and roles as connected nodes so you can instantly see who has access to what. Direct permissions are shown as solid lines and inherited permissions as dashed lines. You can view one level at a time or toggle full tree mode to see the entire folder hierarchy at once.

The Permissions Advisor is a built-in analysis engine that automatically scans your permission structure and surfaces actionable insights. It runs 10 checks including detecting direct user permissions that should be role-based, spotting over-permissioned subjects, finding redundant permissions, identifying permission gaps across sibling folders, and more. Fixes can be staged with a single click.

Full tree mode fetches the entire folder hierarchy — every level from the top down — and displays it as a single connected graph. Parent-child folder relationships are shown as dashed grey lines alongside permission edges. This gives you a complete picture of your project's permission structure without needing to drill folder by folder. Double-click any folder in tree mode to switch back to the single-level view focused on that folder.

Four layout algorithms are available: Force (physics-based spring layout that naturally clusters related nodes), Tree (hierarchical top-down view following folder structure), Radial (concentric circles expanding from a root node), and Grid (structured matrix for large datasets). Switch between them instantly. In full tree mode, the Tree layout automatically roots from top-level folders.

Yes. The cross-project member audit lets you load members from up to 20 projects simultaneously into a unified view. Filter by role, project, product, or search by name. Each member shows their roles, products, admin flags, job title, and company across all selected projects.

Last sign-in enrichment is a batch lookup that fetches the most recent sign-in date for each member. This helps you identify inactive users who haven't signed in recently or have never signed in at all, making it easier to manage licences and offboard departed team members.

Snapshots capture a point-in-time record of your project membership including total members, admins, companies, pending users, and users with no roles. You can take snapshots manually or schedule them to run daily, weekly, or monthly. Snapshots are stored with full stats and can be downloaded as CSV.

Yes. The permissions graph can be exported as a high-resolution PNG image with an embedded legend showing node types and permission levels. This is useful for including in BIM Execution Plans, stakeholder presentations, and audit evidence packs.

Bulk operations include adding or removing roles for multiple members at once, granting or revoking project admin access, and choosing between replace or append mode when assigning roles. This saves significant time when onboarding new teams or reorganising project access.
